Exhibition of UNICEF Rag dolls in Ljubljana's Town Hall

Exhibition of UNICEF Rag dolls in Ljubljana's Town Hall

Visit Ljubljana's Town Hall, Right Atrium from 25th April until 9th May 2018. Adopt a Rag doll and help UNICEF save children's lives.

Unique and hand-crafted UNICEF Rag dolls celebrate their 15th birthday already proving that each of us can make something good. With this aim Rag dolls are being created by devoted volunteers from all over Slovenia, including children in schools and kindergartens. We encourage you to join us and help UNICEF save children’s lives. Adopt your favorite Rag doll by donating 20 euros, which enable immunizing a child in developing country against six deadly childhood diseases (diphtheria, measles, whooping cough, polio, tuberculosis and tetanus). Immunization remains one of the easiest and cost-effective means to guarantee child survival, however, if they aren’t reached with immunization, an estimated 1.5 million children under five years old will die of preventable illnesses. By adopting a Rag doll, you can change this and give children a chance for a bright future.

Colorful Rag dolls are unique little princesses, so do not miss the exhibition, open from April 25th until 9th May in the Right atrium of the Town Hall in Ljubljana. Especially for this occasion dolls were also created by young Slovenian fashion designers.

Join us at the opening of the exhibition on 25th April at 5.30 pm and enjoy the company of designers and their masterpieces accompanied by pleasant music of popular Slovenian singer Nusa Derenda.

UNICEF Slovenia and its supporters have so far enabled the immunization of more than 18.500 children.

The exhibition was made possible by the City of Ljubljana.
